The KnowledgePulse® client-server system was voted one of the top three learning applications among the 179 entrants at this year’s Mobile Award Austria. It was honored by a panel of 15 expert jurors in the category “Media, Culture, Education”, together with the media app of the Viennese daily Die Presse and LAOLA1.at.

Hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Mobile Award Austria – MawA12 honors the best apps and mobile sites in Austria.

“The app stands out due to the mobile learning opportunities and range of courses it offers. The MicroLearning approach, which focuses on building knowledge in small steps anytime and anywhere, makes it not only an innovative product but also embraces the mobile trend of the digital generation.

KnowledgePulse® users are not only able to use ready-made learning content – they can also create learning material of their own and determine the learning curve by themselves. They are thus able to individually address the needs of organizations and employees. In addition, the app offers a variety of courses that can be downloaded easily so that users can immediately start learning.

The app fulfils the needs of the mobile digital generation in a very concrete manner and provides an easy way to build up knowledge. The solution was conceived and developed in Austria and has great potential in the information society.

In the face of today’s information overload, purposeful knowledge acquisition is becoming increasingly important. KnowledgePulse® contributes to the development of a knowledge society. This is crucial for Austrian businesses in particular, as well-trained employees constitute a key success factor.”

The Mobile Award Austria 2012 is hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber together with a nationwide network of partners and organizations. These include, among others, Mobile Monday Austria, the Mobile Marketing Association Austria, as well as leading specialist media, educational institutions and universities.
